Prepare the Dough:
In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, sugar, and yeast. Add warm water and olive oil. Mix and knead for about 8–10 minutes until the dough becomes smooth and elastic. -
Let the Dough Rise:
Cover the dough in a greased bowl and let it rise in a warm place for 1–2 hours until it doubles in size. -
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 250°C (480°F). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while heating. -
Prepare the Chicken:
Mix the cooked chicken with BBQ sauce until coated. You can use rotisserie chicken or grilled chicken breast. -
Shape the Dough:
Roll or stretch the dough into a circle or rectangle, about 10–12 inches wide. Place it on a baking tray or pizza stone dusted with flour or cornmeal. -
Assemble the Pizza:
Spread a thin layer of BBQ sauce on the base instead of tomato sauce. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly. Add the BBQ chicken, red onion slices, and a sprinkle of smoked paprika or chili flakes if desired. -
Bake:
Bake for 8–10 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and slightly browned. -
Finish and Serve:
Remove from the oven. Drizzle a little more BBQ sauce on top, garnish with chopped cilantro or parsley, slice, and serve hot.
